This passage from the book by De Micco already outlines quite clearly what the reader can expect. His subject is interpersonal communication, which is always influenced by the reference systems in which people move, and by the communicative rules of the game. He shows that a human being is not only the product of his own individual psyche, but that his behaviour is decisively related to and interdependent with his social environment. De Micco wants to present methods, which can lead to changing opinions, views and even behaviour during the communicative process.
By means of communication or, expressed more precisely, by correctly handled and understood communication, plans can be realised much more quickly and effectively. The greatest hurdles, which stand in the way of every strategy and every plan, are still people. It is necessary to have an impact on the commutative behaviour here.
